Amazon AWS - Software Development Internship 2026 is open for Summer 2026. This is a premium paid internship for Computer Science and Engineering students to work on real cloud infrastructure at Amazon Web Services.
Duration of Internship
- Duration: 12 Weeks (May/June to August 2026)
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Location: Seattle, WA & Remote USA - Hybrid option available
Stipend / Salary
- Monthly Stipend: $8,300 per month ($48 per hour)
- Relocation support: $2,500 one-time + housing stipend
- Health insurance, 401k, paid leave, mentorship
- High chance of full-time return offer as SDE at AWS

Role Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software solutions on AWS Cloud
- Collaborate with senior engineers on product features
- Write clean, efficient code in Java, Python, or C++
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment
Requirements & Eligibility
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related
- Strong programming skills in at least one OOP language
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and cloud computing
- Available for 12 weeks Summer 2026
