Unemployed graduates in Limpopo now have a solid two-year opportunity to gain real workplace experience while earning a monthly stipend. The Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure has opened 60 Graduate Internship Programme posts for the 2027–2029 cycle. Applications close on 6 November 2026 at 16:30.
Successful candidates will start on 1 April 2027 and complete the programme on 31 March 2029. The monthly stipend is set at R8 174.75. Posts are available at Head Office in Polokwane and across the five districts: Capricorn, Mopani, Sekhukhune, Vhembe and Waterberg.
Who Can Apply
You must be an unemployed South African graduate who has never previously participated in any Public Service Graduate Internship Programme. A relevant National Diploma or Degree is required. Fields currently listed include Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architectural Studies, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Property Management, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Construction Management, Horticulture and related built-environment disciplines. Key Skills and Competencies Needed
- Strong academic foundation in the relevant technical or professional field
- Willingness to learn practical infrastructure, roads, property and facilities management
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a structured public-service environment
- Valid driver’s licence (required for certain district posts)
