About the Role
Advanced Equipment Company designs and integrates conveyor and material handling systems for manufacturers and distribution centres. In this position you will support the sales team with proposals, equipment selection, pricing and technical information. You will create high-level AutoCAD layouts (training provided), visit customer sites, coordinate project schedules and installations, troubleshoot field issues, and handle aftermarket support. Travel averages approximately 35%.
Qualifications and Skills Needed
- Strong technical, mechanical or electrical aptitude
- Engineering, engineering technology or mechatronics background helpful but not required – recent graduates welcome
- Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with customers, contractors and vendors
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Self-motivated, curious and resourceful
- Comfortable working in both office and industrial environments
