Waitrose Foundation Southern Africa (WFSA) Bursary Programme for 2027 is closing TOMORROW on 3 October 2026 and was featured in yesterday's bursary update list (1 October 2026). This bursary is specifically for qualifying employees and children of employees working within the Waitrose supply chain in South Africa. If you work in agriculture, farming, or fruit packing, this is for you.
About Waitrose Foundation Bursary 2027
The Waitrose Foundation supports farming communities supplying Waitrose in the UK. The bursary funds tertiary studies for dependants of farm workers to break the cycle of poverty through education. It is one of the most urgent bursaries from yesterday's list with less than 24 hours left.
What Does WFSA Bursary Cover?
- Full or partial tuition fees
- Registration fees
- Books and study materials
- Accommodation support where needed
Funding is for 1 year, renewable if you pass.
Eligibility - Posted Yesterday List
- Must be an employee OR child of employee working within the Waitrose Foundation Southern Africa supply chain (farms, packhouses, suppliers)
- Must be South African citizen
- Must be in Matric or completed Matric or currently studying
- Must be studying or accepted to study at a public university, university of technology or TVET college in South Africa
- Must have good academic record - 60% minimum
- Must show financial need
- All fields of study accepted - but priority for agriculture, education, health sciences, IT, engineering
